Developers with multiple branches and/or subsidiary companies – streamlining the NHOS log in process.

When NHOS launched we were aware of some improvements we could make when onboarding developers. We took this feedback and have been working with the NHQB and our IT developers to help make the login process more streamlined.

Developers will now be able to select the appropriate branch/SPV from a drop-down pick list, and manage all of their accounts from one central login. Further to this, they can add additional users to each branch individually, meaning their users will have access only to accounts relevant to them.

We will be writing to all current developers with a helpful ‘how to’ guide, and our casework manager Paula Braceland is on hand to help with any questions you may have. You can reach her at paula.braceland@nhos.org.uk

Registration of developers

We have received a fourth group of activated developers from the NHQB, and there are now 99 companies which fall under the NHOS jurisdiction.

More than 140 developers are now registered and working with the board. The scheme will initially cover England, Wales and Scotland, and ultimately the whole of the UK for making a complaint about your home builder. Those that are signed up to the scheme will display the NHQB and New Homes Ombudsman Service (NHOS) branding. Once registered, buyers will have access to the NHOS service.

When making a complaint about your home builder, an up-to-date list of registered developers can be found here.

If you have any questions around making a complaint about your home builder, you can reach our NHOS team on 03308 084 286 or customer.services@nhos.org.uk
